"Dance of Passion" awarded "Outstanding Art" by Fuji Fire and Marine Insurance C
In March 2006, Fuji Fire and Marine Insurance Co, Ltd. Hosted an art competition with over 600 participating artists. Gaylord’s sculpture “Dance Of Passion” was awarded one of the best “Outstanding Art” awards by the judging committee, which consisted of art professors from Kyoto University and Tokyo University. The committee praised that “Dance of Passion” is “One of the great mergers of Western and European art in an artwork…”
This sculpture has been displayed at the International Terminal Departure lobby of Osaka International Airport since December 2006 through March 2007 and is now being displayed at the headquarter office of Fuji Fire and Marine Insurance Company, Ltd. In Ginza, Japan.
