    "Dance of Passion" awarded "Outstanding Art" by Fuji Fire and Marine Insurance C

    In March 2006, Fuji Fire and Marine Insurance Co, Ltd. Hosted an art competition with over 600 participating artists. Gaylord’s sculpture “Dance Of Passion” was awarded one of the best “Outstanding Art” awards by the judging committee, which consisted of art professors from Kyoto University and Tokyo University.     Gaylord learned of an art exhibit which was being brought to Taiwan by the Chinese Regional Bishop’s Conference and the Fu Jen Catholic University; “Art and Religion – a special exhibition of Italian paintings from the Golden Age of the 14th to the 17th centuries”. The art was loaned by the Vatican Museum and was on exhibit from Dec. 15, 2006 to Mar. 25, 2007 at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan.
